Hotel Overview

Dating back to 1375, Phi Hotel Bologna is one of Bologna’s oldest boutique hotels, in the historic city centre. It combines 600 years of hospitality with modern facilities to ensure a pleasant stay next to Piazza Maggiore, the city’s main square.

All rooms come with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Each one has a kettle with a selection of tea and coffee, a minibar and air conditioning. Some rooms have been designed by artists and stage designers.

- staff at the reception desk, very kind and helpful - we stayed in SUITE LA TORRE: spacious and clean apartment, very good for a family with 3-4 people; also good for 2 couples, but with some caution (see below) - well-equipped bathrooms and kitchenette - very good breakfast (Italian standard) - great location: the best possible location in Bologna - in the middle of the city, but still in a quiet square - lift to the 3rd floor where the apartment is located (but you have to be very patient with it: when you think it has broken down, it reaches its destination; if you are in a hurry, go down or up the stairs anyway).
