was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful hospitality. For my birthday, they welcomed me with a small bottle of wine and accommodated an early check-in—such a kind gesture! The hotel's location is superb, nestled in the heart of the city and within walking distance of major attractions like Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers. This central position made exploring Bologna effortless. When booking a hotel, I have three key requirements: central location, cleanliness, and a comfortable bed—and Hotel University delivered on all three. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the overall experience was great. Additionally, the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a well-located, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Bologna, this hotel is definitely worth it!

I was amazed by the staff always so nice and helpful, the hotel cleanliness, location, comfort, and value for money. Could not have chosen a better place. When I first booked, I thought this could have been a hotel mainly designed for students, but not at all. It is perfect for adults who are looking for a quiet stay. Definitely recommend! I believe the hotel should be a 4 rather than 3 stars.

Liked the location, the fact that it was small and cosy, that it was quiet and welcoming and that I had heat - as I travelled in December, so quite cold outside. The place was also easy to find, on foot, from the bus stop, so all the better. All in all, it's a nice stay if you have a couple of days or a little over and if you're looking for a nice, quiet, cosy place to rest your head.

The location was excellent, right in the historical center and very close to the main attractions, just a 15-minute walk from the train station. The receptionists are very helpful.
