Stunning location and beautifully designed and comfortable bedroom. Fabulous restaurant next door with a gorgeous terrace, super friendly staff and innovative cooking (we couldn’t understand the poor Trip Advisor reviews) and lovely breakfast with delightful breakfast waitress.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Delicious food and wine, very comfortable and luxurious room. The owners and staff really went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you for a beautiful stay! We'll hopefully be back soon.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite quirky and unique but after banging our heads on the beams a few times it lost its charm. The breakfast was really good, we had a choice of three different breakfasts, we tried all of them (we were there for three nights) they were all good, scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked, fruit, a selection of ham and cheese and homemade jam and toast. Freshly squeezed orange juice and very good tea and coffee. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was superb, our waiter was very helpful and attentive and the food was sublime! It was on the pricey side but it was definitely worth it. The location of the hotel was perfect, set in a beautiful area with great views of the surrounding hills and only a 15 minute drive into Bologna, which was also a wonderful city. We were also able to bring our dog with us which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.
