Daniele is a fantastic host and a pleasure to chat with. He provides a very comfortable experience—the hostel is centrally located and amenities are strong for the price. I stayed for 4 nights and was happy with my experience. There is a “mom and pop” charm to Backpacker’s House. I’ll certainly be returning in the future, even if simply to share more conversation with Daniele. Grazie mille e a presto!

Best choice if you are looking for room in Bologna. The room, bathroom and the place are clean. The owner is very nice. He offered me a lot of help. The place located near tourist area and easy to explore the city. I will stay in this place again if I go back to Bologna.

The landlord is very nice. He was willing to help me modify the order for free to change the staying time. The room is clean and tidy, and the experience is good.

Dan is an amazing host and he helps greatly even if you have questions avout Bologna's daily life. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You can also meet amazing people here.

This is a great place. Dan is a nice guy. Really helpful guy. This place is neat and tidy all the time. The fridge is full all the time, no matter what the time it is. This place is really affordable.

The hostel is in the city center and right next to the university, which was nice for me as I am a university student as well, and so I felt very comfortable as I was around people my age. It's also a quick walk to almost everything you'll want to do in Bologna, and about a 20 min walk to and from the train station, which connects directly with the airport. The owner is nice, the beds are nice, and the bathrooms are very clean, which is great for hostels. Very close to the nightlife in Bologna as well, if that is of interest to you. If you are social enough, you can definitely learn about the raves that go on in Bologna. Just speaking English and knowing some Italian phrases will be enough for a short stay (< 1 week).
