It was very neat and clean. Amazingly kind staff who helped us with different issues we had. The location is fantastic, every location is 10min walking distance. We had a room with shared bathroom, it was cleaned regularly and was always available.

I will not say that I was in one hotel, but more at one Italian grandmother house. The room was in the classic italian style, quiet, warm, enough big. No bathroom in the room (but the shared bathroom was always free and clean) , but we still have the sink with towels and mirror. The hotel is really in the CENTER, next to the 2 towers! The price was fair enough! The personal was very friendly, and I felt really "like home"! I really recommend!

When things are done with love and care, nothing else is missing. L'Albergo Garisenda is the clear example that you don't need extreme luxury to have a wonderful and pleasant stay. I would say that the place stands out for its excellent location and for how well cared for and clean its owners keep it. In addition, the kindness of the owners makes you feel at home and they offer help whenever you need it. It has been a pleasure to stay here! If I return to Bologna, I would definitely book again!

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They seem to genuinely care about their guests. The room was clean and comfortable with a sink in there too which was handy as I had a single room with shared bathroom. I normally book an en-suite room but in this case, I was happy with the shared bathrooms which were always free and super clean. The shower was great! I didn’t expect breakfast but there was a little selection of snacks available - nothing to write home about. Wasn’t personally my cup of tea but the couple next to me were tucking in, so for the price it’s a nice addition for some!
