“Warm hospitality in a village of character”

Tanja and her family warmly welcomed us into their home and offered us real hospitality as well as a willingness to do whatever they could to make our holiday a success. I loved waking up to a view of the woodsheds, fields and orchards and watching the mist clear to reveal the mountains looming up, sparkling in the snow. Downstairs we were greeted by Grandmother who prepared a beautiful breakfast of warm bread, cheeses, meats, pickles and sausages and home-made jams as well as humorously decorated fried eggs. This set us up for the day, exploring the area with it's many beautiful mountains and valleys. Stara Fuzina has the appearance of a traditional village where life continues as it has done for centuries but there are also sophisticated restaurants a 10 minute walk from the house which are very tempting in the evening, as well as an excellent cycle trail on the doorstep. If you prefer to self-cater Tanja and family are very accommodating, providing space in the fridge and the kitchen as well as the breakfast room where you can relax over your meal. We had a wonderful time there and I hope very much to return soon. Highly recommended.

The host is amazing and friendly! Even have us schnaps when we arrived:) Also the location is perfect for holiday with the bicycles.
