The Bodhgaya Hotel School is an excellent place to stay in Bodhgaya for visiting the Bodhi Tree where Buddha has attained Enlightenment more than 2500 years ago, the Maha Bodhi temple which marks the spot and the other Buddhist temples from various countries, located in the area. The hotel itself is just behind the giant (80-feet high) Buddha Statue, which is a popular attraction. The room was nice and clean, the food at the hotel's restaurant has been excellent and the staff is really nice. Most are students, and they pay a lot of attention to their guests' satisfaction. The manager from the reception desk has also been super helpful providing excellent advice regarding the places I wanted to see, and getting me rickshas and a taxi with well-manered drivers and very good prices. I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to this area I will definitely stay there again.

We liked the polite and friendly helpful staff. The hotel has chosen the downtrodden youngsters from villages and train them in hospitality. Later they are absorbed in the star hotels. This impressed me. Mr Nayan was very enterprising and enthusiastic about the needs of the guests.

The students and staff are excellent, they will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. My room was spacious and spotless, the food tasty and everyone would great me with a smile. Short walk to Buddha statue and temples.

Y will definitely repeat my booking. Awesome service. People working there are very nice, students and volunteering too! The food very occidental haha , really good to feel like home for sometime. Great Location. Went walking to the temples by me self . Highly recommended
