Everything was great about Marina Homestay and ended up staying for many days. It’s a nice place in a spacious open field, though the most impressive thing was the staff and owners they are an inspirational family and I felt warmly welcomed which was a delightful surprise. There was group from Thailand staying there who were also very friendly and welcoming too which all contributed to my stay and wholesome experience of Bodh Gaya after 20 years since my first visit there… Marina home stay is a little away from the main Maha Bodhi temple but this means that it’s a quiet peaceful place and there are some local temples close by like the 21 Tara Devi temple which is exquisite. So really Marina home stay was perfect for me and well recommended. Thank you 👁️🙏👁️

Marina Homestay is very cozy and comfy, we stayed as a group of friends and we really enjoyed it. We could cook our meals, the kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are very neat,, hot shower, nice mattress and space in the rooms, the place is very silent and peaceful as well. I definitely recommend it! Also it's very near the Tara Temple and Tergar Temple, so it was very good to go there to visit! Só if you are looking for a quite and amazing place to stay in Bodhagaya, you should choose Marina HomeStay!

My stay at Marina Homestay was one of my highlights of my India trip and I can highly recommend this stay to any foreigner looking for a clean and budget friendly stay. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. The best part was the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They helped me organise a complicated transportation to another city, took me to the city of Bodh Gaya with a motorbike and even invited me for breakfast and dinner. They also invited me to visit a local school which was a very cool experience.

The guesthouse is located within walking distance of all the temples. It was clean and quiet, set back from the main road, and offers coffee and tea at any time. Special thanks to Gautam, who showed me around, took me to the Dungeshwari cave, to local villages, and to the school they have built for children from poor families who cannot afford an education. The most amazing is that half of the guesthouse's revenue goes directly to supporting the school. After nearly a month in India, this is by far the best place I’ve stayed. Amazing people. I’m confident there is no better choice in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay with Gautam! We stayed an extra day, as he took us to the school they have built the children of Bagahi Village, and then to his parents house. An unforgettable experience my girlfriend and I won't forget!

So so so so happy I booked here! On arrival, they told me all about the school they had built and it turned out to be one of the most special experiences in my life! The children were amazing! The stay was amazing! Gautam was amazing! Felt like I saw the real India!!

Cannot talk about this place enough! I arrived in Bodh Gaya hearing that it was where The Buddha attained enlightenment. Ended up spending 3 days with the Kumar family. They showed me around all of the major temples, ate with their family, and they took me to the school they have built. Meeting the kids was my favourite experience in India so far! Make sure you do the experience where they take you to the school and meet their family!! Thank you, Gautam!!

It was a very special experience! I ended up doing one of their tours, which took me to their school and where the Buddha attained enlightenment. Highlight for me was definitely playing cricket though! I hit Gautam for 6! (Although, he said it only went for 4!)
