Hostel Overview

Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. WiFi access is available for guests.

Reception is open from 7:30am - 10:00pm local time. If your arrival is later than 10pm please the property, as they will be happy to assist late check in on request. Also If your arrival time is after 5:30pm and you want to join us for our family dinner, please contact the property to send you the menu options, since they take orders until 5:30pm to serve dinner at 7:30pm.

Super pretty pool area, the waterslide is a ton of fun, great vibes and great to meet other travellers, the hotel does a great job at bringing people together too, the food is amazing. Absolutely love this place.

Amazing place 100% recommend. The Jungle Cabin is amazing and feels like a honeymoon location. Crew is super chill and welcoming. Would recommend staying here longer than we did (1 night only)

Loved our stay at Bambuda! Stayed in one of the cabins for 2 people and we had a small private terrace and loved the decor and how comfy our beds were. What made the stay special though was absolutely the staff, and the great vibe the bring and rubs off on the guests staying there. I want to mention especially Johani, Andrea and Shari (though everyone from the restaurant manager to the cooks and bartender were amazing! I just didn't get to learn their names), who were very attentive. I also went there during my friend's birthday and they helped me organize a little surprise breakfast being brought to the room. The family dinners as well are a lovely touch to bring a bit of a community feeling!

It's truly amazing. Staff members are excellent and super friendly, smiling every time, they truly take care of all guests very well with a nice and fun personal touch. The kitchen quality is also very good for a fair price. Every day a 'family dinner' is organised at 7:30pm where all guests who want to dine at the lodge can join in. There are multiple dinner options. Breakfasts and lunch options are also good. If you want to eat somewhere else, you need to take a water taxi. So most guests stay at the lodge for dinner, creating a nice social atmosphere.
