The local is great in the edge of blue bay. We stayed twice and the room our last two nights was an incredible suite with a large balcony and sea views.

Location was good. Room entrance is very uncomfortable. Photos are misleading. The room we suposedly hot upgraded to was not upgrade worthy. Payed extra.

Location... Location... Location... This is our second time staying at Chantauvent. The guesthouse has 2 parts, one on the beach and another just across the road, which we preferred to be across the road. It was less windy when the wind picked up. The hotel has the beach front access and the jetty just in front of the guesthouse, which you can jump off and snorkel into the paradise.. Close to the airport, which we also preferred this. There is no need to drive for an hour and a half to get to the other side of the island.

The location was great for what we needed - short walk to Blue Bay beach for the trips we had booked. Highly recommend Blue Bamboo restaurant a short walk up the road for food and drinks.

We liked the beach right next to the accomodation, good coctails, nice staff. When we arrived at about 9a.m., we could leave the luggage there and we could buy a breakfast after a long flight and wait on the beach until the room was ready.
