Comfortable bed and quiet room. Managed to park easily in the car park. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. Helpful staff.

Stayed here several times in the late 1970s to late 1980s. This trip, with our adult son and daughter was a nostalgia one. The hotel still has loads of stairs to the rooms which are now ensuite. The rooms were clean but the two at the end of the corridor were really cold as the radiators handnt been switched on and they took ages to heat up. The bathroom light in our double didnt work so we had to use the mirror light instead. But the room rate was really low. Breakfast was really god value for money

It’s not the Ritz but it’s a decent budget hotel close to city. Great location for fair price. Parking easy in neighbouring streets.
