Well-equipped, clean and pleasant. The area is calm and the surrounding landscape is beautiful, and there is a walking path from the neighborhood to the center of Bled. There was a small kitchen with everything one might need to prepare a quick meal.

The Slovenia House Vida becomes the best first impression of Slovenia. A warm and cozy room with a nice host. She kindly and promptly replied every detailed information we need. She also recommend some good place to visit in this country. She is so nice and I would definitely choose here to stay the next time.

Cozy and warm, guesthouse Vida was our refuge during our three rainy nights in Bled. Our apartment is ideal for two people, I would say even for a longer stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen stove, kettle, mini fridge, and coffee machine allowed us to make some tasty meals at home if we were staying in. There are also a variety of delivery options, and a number of restaurants nearby. The location is some 15-20 minutes on foot away from the lake, and it makes for a wonderful walk with astounding views of the surrounding mountains. The entire home is a labor of love, with plenty of thought and care put into every detail. Our hosts were available at any time and were even kind enough to give us a ride to the Vintgar Gorge. :) We would love to return soon and wholeheartedly recommend you book your stay here!

Immaculately clean, comfortable, quiet, decor lovely, kind friendly staff. A home away from home, we loved it, wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely room and kitchen area, bathroom was perfect. Parking for the car. Kitchen had basic equipment, enough to cook a meal. Coffee maker & coffee provided . 20 min walk to the lake.

If you arrive by car, it looks like it’s on the edge of town but it’s actually handy to everything. It’s a 10 minute walk to the free Vintgar gorge shuttle bus and a 20 minute walk up a lovely path to the castle. The picturesque walk to the lake takes about 25 minutes.

Lovely comfortable bed, excellent bathroom, a good size for a couple of nights. Option to cook a basic meal. We are travelling round Slovenia on a road trip for our honeymoon and we informed SHV of this before we arrived and they had left us a bottle of fizz and a thoughtful card on the table which we really appreciated, a lovely personal touch. The lady that showed us to our room was very friendly and welcoming. There is a two ring hot plate to cook on so we made a simple pasta dish for our evening meal, you can't cook anything too complicated. Parking on site is very good.
