Hotel Overview

Located on the shores of Lake Bled, the elegant Grand Hotel Toplice features panoramic views of the lake and the Alps. The hotel has a boutique wellness centre with a thermal pool, saunas and various massage and beauty treatments. Guests can relax at the lake-view terrace. Free WiFi is provided throught the property.
All rooms and suites at Grand Hotel Toplice are air-conditioned and include a private balcony. Most of them provide views of Lake Bled. Gorgeous views, suite room was excellent in poor weather, beds were comfortable, spacious rooms and bathroom. The lake view balcony was absolutely worth the extra cost. Excellent cocktails, helpful staff. Location on the side of Lake Bled was perfect, incredible views of the Castle and Island at sunrise and sunset. I would book this hotel again.

It has a classic old-world charm about it. The breakfast was exceptional, especially with a view over the lake. I didn’t have a lake view room, but I can imagine they’re stunning. The glass of sparkling wine on arrival was a nice touch. The spa was great, and well priced - guests get a discount when they book a treatment over a certain value. I spent most of my time at the lake pool which was relaxing. Get there early to secure a good spot. I liked being able to order drinks to my lounger, and they were very well priced for butler service. I was there on my birthday and they sent me a mini bottle of Slovenian sparkling wine which was nice.

Excellent location right on the lake facing the castle and island. The front desk staff were exceptional in their ability to make our stay as pleasant as possible, provide guidance for the activities in Bled, and make up for the hotel’s poor conditions.
