The perfect place to spend lovely days in Blarney. Our host was tremendous! It is mandatory to stay in Maranatha Country House if you visit Cork county

Maranatha is a beautiful Victorian house in a lovely setting with plenty of safe parking space. The rooms are large, grand in style and very comfortable. The hosts Olwen and Douglas are superb and go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a great experience. Breakfast is first class and Olwen ensures this is a real one off experience. We both loved it.

Our host Olwen was exceptionally friendly and accomadating. She was helpful in reccomending the local sights to visit. Trish the head of staff is a lovely girl and we were sad to leave. Full breakfast was excellent. Bed and room were excellent.

A very beautiful home set in the Victorian style. A lovely and relaxing setting from the moment you enter the gates.Very unique in today's B&B settings. Breakfast was plentiful and the owner and staff very friendly.

The room was one the best rooms I've ever stayed in!!! There was a big beautiful comfortable ROUND bed that was beautifully decorated with gorgeous white curtains and pink pillows. I absolutely loved it!! The breakfast room was just as gorgeous and the whole place felt very welcoming and lovely!! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!!

lovely accommodation and support/service. Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet. Nothing was too much trouble. They offer you a 'voice' pamphlet on exit, and yes there are some plastic flowers. I didn't find either of these an issue at all (unlike some travellers who rated the place lower because of this).

The spacious room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Very helpful host. Close to Blarney castle and Cork. Room was very very quiet.

Olwen greeted us very warmly and showed us around the public rooms and to our gorgeous suite. Fantastic location, wonderful gardens and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was perfect too!
