“Traditional Blackpool seaside B&B excellent hosts”

Traditional Blackpool B&B. Reminded me of childhood holidays. On arrival at the property we had a warm welcome from Ian. Our first impression was that it was bright and cosy. I had already been in contact with Veronica before our arrival and she had given us lots of useful information. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Although there was a single and a double bed in the room, there was plenty of room for us to move about. Great facilities to make hot drinks with and the bathroom was very clean and nicely presented with a nice hot shower after a long journey. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of hot and cold dishes. There was more than enough for a breakfast selection. Ian is a fantastic host, no sooner had we sat down, he was there to take our drinks and breakfast order. The food when it arrived was nice, freshly cooked and delicious. They also went out of their way to do nice things for breakfast for our little boy. Overall if you have a family and are looking for a brilliantly located traditional B&B with a pair of fantastic hosts then ‘The Strathdon’ is ideal. We would certainly return. Thank you

This is a great hotel with even better hosts. Breakfast is also superb with plenty of choices on offer. We will definitely be visiting again.

The breakfast had a wide variety of food and choices which were all phenomenal. The owners were very friendly and helpful with anything needed. The rooms were cosy and the beds were so comfortable that we almost missed breakfast twice.

Just got back from great weekend here with the family. What a lovely B & B we have found here, credit to Ian & Veronica! Great night sleep and one of the best breakfasts we've had. Will definitely stay here again!
