We loved the whole breakfast and Michelle was so hands on with all local information for us also the room was like being at home we even stayed an extra night it was amazing

Given the generally not high standard of hotels in Blackpool and the reasonable price, many things at Celtic Pride Hotel can be overlooked. However, there are a few issues that need serious attention: 1. Breakfast Timing The breakfast schedule is poorly planned, especially considering that many guests are in town to participate in competitions. Most people leave for their events before 9 AM, but breakfast is only served between 9 and 10 AM. This simply doesn’t work. When we arrived at 9, the dining room was full, and we had to wait until 9:27 to be served—this is not ideal for guests on tight schedules. 2. Persistent Cigarette Smoke This was the most unacceptable issue. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the building. It was clearly not caused by guests, but seems to be ingrained in the premises. The smell continued throughout our entire stay. I was there with my child, and other families were staying as well. It was extremely unpleasant to have cigarette smoke seeping through the door into our room—especially as we had booked a "deluxe" room. It felt more like a gas chamber than a hotel room at times. 3. Noise and Soundproofing Another issue was the extremely loud flushing noise from the upstairs toilet. The sound insulation in the hotel is very poor, and noises like this were quite disruptive during the night. In summary, while the hotel is priced fairly and fits within Blackpool’s typical standards, the issues with cigarette smoke, breakfast timing, and noise levels should not be ignored—especially for families. These improvements would make a real difference to guests’ comfort and experience.

The Celtic Pride is very local to all amenities situated in a quiet area of Blackpool. Along a little street with a convenient big pay and display at the end within a 2 min walking distance. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean very welcoming staff and the breakfast had everything and more. From cereals and juice to fresh fruit and a full English. Bedrooms are presented beautifully with decorative towels on the bed and so light and airy. Hair dryer tea / coffee facilities and a brill shower and a great touch of essentials in the bathroom if required. Absolutely superb hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return if we came back to Blackpool. This really is a little hidden gem of a place. And an extra special bonus a view of Blackpool tower!

The staff were friendly and really helpful. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. There was a nice selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and drinks for breakfast as well as a brilliant full English. The sausages were exeptional. Would definitely return.

The room was very clean and tidy . The staff and owner was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is really good size and very tasty as you can have multiple stuff for breakfast like cereal Plus a lovely cooked breakfast and fruit and pastries and there are plenty of drink options as well to have with your breakfast.
