The hotel was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. The room was spacious and nicely decorated with a lovely ensuite bathroom. We were travelling with 2 young children and we loved the fact that the front door is key coded to get inside. This made the hotel very safe and secure as only guests could enter the building. The location was great, only a short walk to the tower and promenade. We even got to check in early which was handy. Every thing was great and we will be staying here again in the future.

The owners were lovely and very welcoming - a warm family hotel which I really liked. Everything was clean and attractive, all the facilities that you want are provided and the breakfast was great.

We travelled up as a family of 3, 2 adults and a 12 year old, for a cheerleading competition at the winter gardens. Upon arrival (during storm Darragh) we were greeted by a lovely friendly gentleman, who welcomed us in out of the cold into the lovely, warm, cosy living room/reception area. He then directed us to the nearest parking which was at the top of the road, and you are allowed to park outside the front of the hotel to unload for a short while. Check in was quick and we were shown straight to our room , which was beautifully clean and very tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were wonderful, shower gel, hand wash, even air freshener and sanitary towels - such lovely touches. The other guests were very respectful, there was no noise and so we didn't feel disturbed at all. The lady that checked us out the next morning was very friendly and wished us well. It is in an ideal location, close to all of the shops, the tower and the winter gardens. I would recommend this hotel 100% and hope to come back in the future! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

It's just so obvious how much care and attention the owners give to their guests and ensuring everything is how they want it to be. Cleanliness is really exceptional, being remembered from a previous trip (despite so many guests) and each guest simply gets looked after. Having stayed in larger hotels in blackpool, which are lovely just a different experience, staying at the Carlton adds such ease to attending events at the Winter Gardens or The Blackpool Tower.

small but clean ensuite room., despite halls stairs etc being tired. Friendly greeting when arrived but did not see any one after that. Safe and secure building and great location near to theatre and shops and seafront.
