Comfortable, clean and very welcoming. Close to the pleasure beach and why we were visiting in the first place so ideal location. Mick, Clare and john were very good hosts and really good company. Grateful for allowing our dogs staying due to one of them being a handful. Will be back again in 2 weeks

The staff was lovely. The hotel and rooms were very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely. The location was perfect. Such a happy, enjoyable and comfortable stay. I would highly recommend 5*****

Royal Hotel was perfect, couldn't say a bad thing, Perfect location, clean, friendly and cheap, breakfast was great and more importantly very quiet at night especially with having kids with us 👍. Will definitely be staying there again.

Lovely place. Lovely hosts. A guest we met, Kevin, wow...his love of rollercoasters is unparalleled. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. This is the place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and within walking distance of a tram stop. Cheers!
