The room was quite clean and cosy. It had a space heater already, which was much appreciated, since it made it easy for me to keep the place warm, especially at the times when I needed it most. The staff were responsive and helpful.

Everything was perfect. Only one towel in the bathroom though. Ok for a solo traveller. Apart from a leak in the corridor all good. Friendly staff and breakfast was included. You can get a discount on the beer as a quest. Location was perfect and easy to find from the train station.

Very close to amenities, key fob access at all hours, bed was comfy, pillows were plump, good selection of toiletries.

The location is good, and while some elements of the location could benefit from an upgrade (some run down carpet), or other details (some kitchen cooking smell), or the small bathroom, overall the quality of the room was good, clean and comfortable enough for the money paid. The venue also closes early, so there's no noise whatsoever, good place to rest and recoup. Perfect for short stays.

Location was perfect, near o2 and China Town. Pub was nice, drinks reasonable and in-house Indian restaurant was one of the best I’ve ever been to, food was authentic and excellent, as were the staff. Room was very clean and quiet. Compact in size but nice bed and en-suite so everything you’d need. Fantastic.

THE STAFF. Friendly, helpful, informative. Great guys, no doubt the impression was: “a bunch of friends”, rather than “co-workers”. We came just for one night, enjoying an amazing guitarist’s concert on the day of arrival. For just one night, “sleep, shower, breakfast and on you go” kind of staying, this place is enough.

The room was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. The bar downstairs was a lovely place to sit and had a great atmosphere.

I liked that breakfast was included. The entire pub seemed to have been refurbished recently which was a pleasant surprise. The room was a nice size, small and comfortable because it was minimalist. I liked the traditional locking systems because I lose cards easily. The pub was very nice though we didn’t get to spend a lot of time there. The TV in the room was the perfect size. The bedding was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The radiator was easily controlled. The location was very close to where we needed to be and I didn’t feel unsafe. We adored the graffiti in the area and we couldn’t have had the chance to see it all if we didn’t have to walk to the venue. The locals were very friendly and helpful. Had a very very positive experience. The terms of use were very simple and displayed tastefully in the room - the way they were written made us feel like guests in a home rather than just service users. There was a 10% discount on drinks from the pub which was a very welcome touch. We got the feeling that this pub is very inclusive; we were worried that us being quite alternative and in town for the Full of Hell gig, we may be out of place - but there was not one point in our stay where we felt unwelcome or judged. The pub seemed - for the short time we were there - to have great ethics.

Staff lovely, cleaning great, 5 minutes walking from city centre and China town. No free parking and very noisy from the main street. But you get plugs to put in the ears. Also, pillows are very lumpy.
