Additionally, guests under 18 years old are not permitted in the common room after 20:00 due to the on-site bar.Guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years and must be in a private room or book an entire dorm.When booking 8 nights or more (1 large booking or separate consecutive bookings) or a group booking of 6 or more (1 large booking or separate individual bookings), different policies and additional supplements will apply.Alcohol consumed on the premises of this property must be bought from the on-site bar (due to licensing laws) and consumed only in the common room or outdoor garden. Guests caught bringing alcohol into the property or found to be smoking or drinking alcohol in unauthorised areas, will be evicted (along with their entire group) immediately without refund. In addition, a fine of GBP 200 will be deducted from the card information provided when booking.Only authorised guests are allowed in the hostel. Any guest (including their entire party) caught bringing in other people will be evicted immediately without refund and charged for the additional people they have allowed in.Guests can hire towels for a GBP 4.00 deposit and GBP 1.00 hire fee.

Great and small hostel with a wonderful double room with a nice bathroom and big windows that let in all the natural light. The staff were exquisite and truly took care of me after I'd come of the overnight bus and stayed at the hostel after a long workday!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and the beds very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay, it was exactly what I needed and would recommend this place

The lady at the reception, who is from India, deserves a salary increase along with the other staff. I know how many people I have recommended this place to, and they have all given the same feedback. Whenever I visit Birmingham, this is my preferred place to stay. I've also made friends with other frequent visitors. Birmingham Central Backpackers truly feels like a home to everyone.

Stayed in 6 bed female dorm on 1st floor which was clean and very secure. Bed was really comfortable. Staff were very helpful and happy to accommodate my request for lower bunk. Large kitchen and lounge available 24/7.with free tea and coffee. Simple breakfast included (bread, fruits, preserves, etc) Bathrooms were very clean, with ample hot water, though there was a sizable wait to use on Sunday. Great location close to digbeth coach station and O2 institute. Would certainly book for future trips.

Everything was up to the mark. I think if they added the toilet more. Instead of many b showers.
