Staying at Casual Mardones exceeded our expectations. The room was in a building in the old town centre where traffic is forbidden, everything was at a walking distance. We left the car in the public car park nearby as suggested by the managers. It only took us about 5 minutes to get to the property with our luggage. The room was spotless, newly refurbished with excellent taste, wide and super comfy. Should we come back to Bilbao we will definitely stay here again.

I really liked the hotel’s location—it was close to the tram, making it easy to get around. When we arrived, they gave us a small room, but after one day, they upgraded us to a bigger, much nicer one! The staff was amazing—very kind and hospitable. You can always count on them for directions and recommendations.

Location was perfect - right in the old town with a supermarket just across the street, loads of food places around and no issues with noise overnight despite being so central. Bed was very comfortable. Check in was straightforward, you get a 4 digit code to get in the main door and your room and then you can go in and out as you please. Price was very reasonable. I would stay there again.

Great value for money for double room on 3rd floor, in very good location within in old town, easy access with various transports links to city for exploring the whole of Bilbao. Very large bubble bed, clear bathroom and great showering facilities, Great bars and restaurants and shops around the local area. Would definitely come back to stay again.

Fantastic location! Right in the old town, and an easy walk to the major attractions like the Guggenheim. Super friendly and professional staff. Things we knew about prior but may concern some visitors: - parking is in public parking garages 10 or so minutes walk away, as no cars are allowed in the old town. - there is no elevator or lift, so you will be climbing stairs. For our needs it was excellent however, and we would happily return.
