Hotel Overview

This family-run 4-star hotel enjoys in a quiet location in Bezau in the Bregenz Forest. Sonne Bezau - Familotel Bregenzerwald features a sauna and relaxation area, a large children’s playroom with a garden, and professional child care.
Guests of “Die Sonnigen” can use a ski storage room and benefit from free WiFi in public areas. Pushchairs and baby monitors are provided, and various activities for children, such as barbecuing and archery, are offered.
The breakfast buffet includes homemade bread, fresh butter, regional cheeses, and homemade jams. The traditionally furnished restaurant features a summer terrace and serves light cuisine and homemade specialities, as well as a separate children’s buffet. Half-board is available on request.

We always looked for rural accommodation in a recent road trip around Europe, and this was perfect. When we arrived nothing much was open, and it was raining, but the staff still managed to get us squeezed into the restaurant, although we were located in the apartments just up the road. This is obviously a ski area in the right season, but perfect for walkers and cyclists at other times. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, so definitely get it included. Worth a visit is the cable car at Son Bezau as it has amazing views and is a lovely walk. There is a restaurant at the top too.
