Facing the majestic summits of the Dents du Midi, the Hotel Le Cèdre - named after the ancient Lebanon cedar in front of it - is located in the picturesque town of Bex, 18 km east of Lake Geneva and Montreux. WiFi access and parking are available for free.
With the mountains of the Swiss Alps and the shores of Lake Geneva in close proximity, the visitor may choose whatever he likes best: hiking in the mountains, strolling along the lake, or skiing during the winter months.

An easy short walk, only 10mins, from the Station in Bex. I arrived late and instruction were provided to access the hotel and keys for room. Room was clean and warm. I was only there for 1 night and met my expectations. Met the manageress in the morning and was very friendly. Breakfast was buffet style, i.e. help yourself and plentiful.

Nice breakfast buffet for a very reasonable additional charge. Children got to have it for free. Good location near town center and near railway station.
