Beautiful establishment set in nicely attended gardens. Perfect, weather permitting for afternoon tea or drinks. Bedroom spacious and comfy with sofa and tea/coffee tray, hairdryer, bathrobes etc. Clean bathroom with everything you would expect from a quality hotel. Great dining room and good quality breakfast with plenty of choice.

This was a birthday treat for my other half. From the moment we stepped in the door, we knew the standards were high. The small but efficient staff were always able to fulfil your requirement in the MOST professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole building had so much character and stories to tell. During dinner, one of the family who run and own the hotel, came and chatted with us which is so personal. All the food is local sourced, top class, and cooked to the finest standard. There really is too many good things to say, except, Bed and Breakfast will never be the same again.

Continental breakfast was superb with a wide range of meats and cheeses. The staff and owners were friendly and attentive and it was lovely to stay there again after many years.

Location and gardens Food excellent at dinner. Breakfast limited for the continental option . Only had croissants no other pastries….All about choice giving guests a choice . Cooked breakfast very nice.

A peaceful retreat, with a comfortable bedroom and spacious bathroom. The food was delicious. The staff friendly and accommodating. Can't ask for more.

We liked almost everything. The room was clean, comfortable and some nice touches like a razor and foam for people who forgot (which my husband had). Friendly staff. Nice bar area. Meal was very good.
