Hôtel Restaurant Spa Le Sauvage, formerly the Clarisses Monestary, is located in the historic district of Besançon, 500 metres from the citadel's ancient walls. It offers views of the tree-lined park, the medieval walls, the city and the Doubs Valley.

“Beautifull Hotel in a historic French Citadel”

The location in the citadel is very good. a short walk from the town center shops and restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

An interesting property in the centre of a beautiful town. We had a fantastic breakfast at this hotel. Plenty of secure parking space in the back garden. Very pleasant staff on reception and at breakfast.

Good location, reception staff were helpful and made the arrival very easy. Room was a good size and the sofa bed was already made-up.
