“Large, comfortable large house close to beach with very welcoming host and good amenities.”

Very welcoming host. Warm, comfortable house. High quality bedding. Essentials like salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea were available, as well as an unexpected bottle of bubbly and some chocolates. We didn't need it but a very well stocked kitchen with more than enough cutlery and crockery. Working Sky TVs in all rooms. Great location for north Northumberland coast and Scottish borders.

The old vicarage cottage was very cosy and immaculately clean had everything u needed. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely location not far from berwick town centre. Sitting room was very cosy with sofas all round so all were sitting comfortably watching a huge screen tv. Deffinately recommend this cottage and would 100% go back. The owner showed us round and showed us how to use facilities which was very nice. Lovely welcome pack left for us arriving..

“A true home away from home”

The property was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. On arrival we were met by the host, Sarah, who gave us a guided tour and instructions on the amenities. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and the property itself was spacious and well equipped. There are lots of beaches nearby, and it is a 5 minute drive to Berwick upon tweed itself. We also drove into Newcastle for the day which was an easy drive. A true home from home. We loved it that much we will certainly be back again

The property was beautiful, well maintained, all home comforts and so much more included . Unfortunately, Due to storm Darragh we were unable to make it out for our dinner and drinks reservations in the town, but we couldn’t have picked in a nicer accommodation to be holed up in. The owner, Sarah, had also left plenty of takeaway menus, and we had access to all facilities for cooking our own meal if needed.
