The property was built circa 1800 and is located perfectly on the river bank overlooking the railway viaduct. The decor is suitably matched to the age of the property and is like taking a step back to a bygone era. Margaret and her team could not have been more helpful, they provide a very personal touch to your stay and are extremely knowledgeable on the local facilites. We will definately be visiting them again.

Great Location. Next to the train station. Parking at the house. Castle Vale Park next to the house is worth a visit with walks along the river Tweed. On arrival, we were given a lovely welcome by Tracy, who was very helpful telling us where to go for the evening meal. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Good shower. The views from the room were stunning, excellent cooked breakfast, just wish that it had been a litter warmer.
