Hotel Overview

Dating from the 17th century, this family-run hotel in Bernkastel-Kues offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional restaurant. It lies a 5-minute walk from the ruins of the Burg Landshut Castle.
The individually furnished rooms of the Hotel Doctor Weinstube come with satellite TV. The entire hotel was renovated in 2013.
A varied breakfast buffet is available each morning. The restaurant offers regional specialities and fine local wines. Guests are welcome to dine in the peaceful inner courtyard during the summer. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays!
The Doctor Weinstube Hotel also features a sauna.
The River Moselle is a 2-minute walk away.

“Great stay for Christmas marked in Bernkastel Kues on the Mosel”

This place on the Mosel River is what you would imagine a German hotel in one of the villages would look like. It had old rafters that went up to the roof. Entry to the hotel was through the restaurant into a courtyard. The building was started around 1650 generally. Since we were there for Christmas market, everything was decorated brilliantly. The welcome was efficient and the property was spotless and well run. Breakfast was excellent. It was a German breakfast with meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, jams and breads. But there was the addition of scrambled eggs and bacon. We loved this as we missed bacon and eggs. We love Mosel wine, so that was a plus. Overall, a great place to stay.

Lovely friendly staff , wonderful location and our third visit to this hotel, comfy bed 🛌 lovely room , if I was to be critical there was no aircon but the fan supplied in the room did the job.
