Hotel location is excellent, within walking distance of historic centre and a stone's throw away from train station. Breakfast was adequate (nothing grand, but basic, fresh and enough). Staff very friendly, room nice and modern, everywhere clean.

Good breakfast and very good location, close to the centre and the Christmas markets. Very nice staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Our toilet was a bit small, but clean.

Great hotel right in the heart of Bern... and what a city !!! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is a 5.min walk to the centre of Bern. And of course the hotels pride and joy is the 200 year old, still functioning, lift !! Would recommend to all travellers!!!

With ancient and historical vibes, the location is perfect for visiting Bern old town and train station! A historic wooden lift is amazing!

We got upgraded which was lovely. We were warned that there would be a bit of team noise but that did not bother us. Clean comfortable bad and warm. The receptionist that we dealt with mostly, Anna was exceptional, so welcoming and obviously gifted at remembering names. She made the stay even better

During our trip, we stayed at a wonderful hotel in Bern, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel’s location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city center. It made exploring Bern so easy, as everything we wanted to see and do was just a short walk away. The price was also very reasonable, especially considering its prime location. It felt like excellent value for the convenience and comfort provided. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, with cozy rooms that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel in Bern was an ideal choice for its combination of affordability, comfort, and unbeatable location. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the city!
