The ventilation in the bathroom can’t be switched off and is too loud. There was a strong smell near the door (it didn’t come from the bathroom and I couldn’t identify the source). Told the staff but nothing was done and I wasn’t offered a room change.

Breakfast was very good. A broad selection of foods and all were very good, lovely view of city eating breakfast, staff very friendly. Really clean hotel. Felt very safe with key swipe to use the lift. Sauna very nice area and clean. Room was spotless with good supply of rituals soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay again if I visited Berlin. 10 out of 10.

We loved our stay at the Melia. The staff are very polite and professional. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of main attractions. Our breakfast was also divine. We would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Great location for sightseeing in Berlin. We splurged for a ‘Level’ room which provides access to an all day lounge with refreshments, which is great for those parts of the day when you’d like to relax, but don’t necessarily want to be stuck in your room.
