Atmosphere relaxed, no extraordinary comfort but functional, nice and reliable clean facilities/bathroom, no cooking but common room with microwave, toast grill and hot water :)

The location is great. The metro station is just a 2-minute walk. You can walk to ZOB and the "Messe" area (if you are attending conferences) in under 30 minutes. Just know that a lot of noisy people also check in this hostel. I have stayed here multiple times over the years, and there are always people continuing the party here. The place is fairly clean, they especially clean bathrooms multiple times per day. So the bathrooms were always in good shape. Note that there isn't 24h check-in. Check out is simply taking off your bed stuff and dropping it in the bedding bins close to reception, then giving the receptionist your key card. Staff were always nice and helpful. Price is really good for Berlin. Tip: Bring your own lock (mid-size, not the big ones), so you can use the lockers and don't have to buy one at reception.

You get what you pay for, basic, neet, nice stuff, and good location :) Clean towels were extra bonus and a nice surprise, room was fully equipped, even there was shower gel!

Location was ok, 2 min from train stop, where you can get to centre within 20 min by trian. Charlotenburg is a nice area. Beds were fine, big bathroom.

The receptionist was very helpful and our room was already ready at 10:00 which was amazing given that we had a long trip. The Hostel is very close to the train station and there are supermarkets and shops as well as bakeries and restaurant nearby.

Great value for money. Bathrooms seemed to be cleaned at least twice per day. Good heating. Excellent connections with the city center with all S-Bahn lines right across the street from the hostel. I had the luck to even be alone in my room of 6 for most of my stay - which made the stay even better!
