The fine print
PAYMENT: For Advance Purchase rates/Non Refundable rates, we require the payment card used for booking to be presented upon check in.GROUP POLICY: Any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. Groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and Generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise.
PAYMENT: All guests will require proof-of-age ID upon check-in. The full cost of the booking must be paid at least one month prior to arrival. Late payment will result in the rooms being resold.
AGE RESTRICIONS: In Germany unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.
Minors accompanied by a legal guardian/parent can book a private room.
The legal guardian/parent must stay in the same room. If relationship status is not clear, a completed parental consent form must be presented.
If minors are part of a school group that has booked an entire dormitory, they can stay in a dorm.PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The pods are cozy and you have a power socket/ outlet and USB connectors for charging. The WiFi in the pod room was really good.

Good location (easily accessible with tram&S-Bahn, really close to most tourist attractions etc.), clean rooms&bathrooms, comfy beds, easy access to café&bar, possibility for online pre-check in&out, nice staff

The main advantages of this structure are certainly the very central location and the value for money. The staff is very friendly and available 24/7. The rooms (I slept in a female dormitory) are just right spacious, very clean and suitable for short stays; travelling alone I can confirm that I found myself very well and safe in this solution and I also met interesting people with whom to share wonderful moments throughout my stay. Overall, people in the structure were always very kind and polite. Clearly the cleanliness and comfort of the dormitory depends a lot on who the other people who are staying there, I can say I was lucky. Its strategic location and the ease of check-in and check-out will surely make me come back to this structure in the future.

Good lounge. Comfortable bed in pod but did not like mixed ' dressing room ' in pod area with halvnaked men at all hours. Toilets not so fresh and bar seemed closed. Not so easy merting People as few socialising areas

Beautiful building, great location, close to the centrer, near public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a regular room with a double bed, but we were given an entire appartment. The appartment was spacious and cozy and the bed was very comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The heating worked perfectly and everything was clean. I would highly recommend staying in Generator Berlin Mitte and I would definitely come back!
