Convenient, easy, good range of breakfast Very basic rooms but we're comfortable with a bed and a tv The mini mart downstairs was great to grab a cold drink in the evening 10 minute walk from main station, made getting around the city really easy

Despite its name, the hotel is not on Alexanderplatz, which is probably just as well. It's near the corner of Mollstrasse and Otto-Braun-Strasse. To get there from the Hauptbahnhof, take an M8 tram towards Ahrenfelde/Stadtgrenze and get off at Mollstrasse/Otto-Braun-Strasse. The hotel is by the stop. As the word 'budget' suggests, the room was simply furnished. But it had everything I needed. It was all right for one night. I thought it was good value for money. The room was quiet. (Alexanderplatz itself is one tram stop away on the M4.)
