The dining area and the bar were really good. The breakfasts were good as were the grounds.

The dog! She was super cute. The bed was amazingly comfortable and lush. The room was pleasant. The breakfast was pleasant.

The hotel is "tres sympa" in a very French way. Management including the lovely Beauceron Entil are friendly and professional. I loved the huge tasty croissants offered at breakfast which exceeded my expectations. Good base to visit the Perigord Noir at easy driving distance. Lovely old trees, good size clean pool, although I only used it once due to the weather.

Good location, very convenient for central Bergerac. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. Lovely to be able to have a swim and the garden was pretty.

A functional hotel that could be exceptional had it had a makeover. It's perfectly functional and typically French. Would i stay here again? Yes, absolutely, it's peaceful and quaint.

Exceptionally comfortable beds in a large room with a decent shower and relaxing view over the wild but wonderful gardens of this traditional old French hotel. Yes the restaurant is permanently closed, the tennis court abandoned, and the walk into town too long … but all of this info is on their web page, so shame on those reviewers who still turn up … and the moan about such matters. The owners dog is delightful, provided you don’t mind the attention! Breakfast was simple but fresh, served by staff (rather than self service) in a lovely airy dining room, and good value.
