Comfortable family accommodation in a central location. A welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated, and the apartment had basic essentials for self-catering. The host was helpful with some local tips.. Lots of restaurants/cafes/boulangeries within a short walking distance. Close to the river for scenic strolls in the morning or evening.

The apartment was very atmospheric like stepping back in time - old beams, wooden staircase ...... but well modernised with very good shower etc. Excellent location in old town with everything within walking distance. Excellent communication with host re, entry and information sheet. Bergerac a very good base: in one direction St.Emilion and vineyards : the other Perigord , a foodies dream. Excellent food markets everywhere so cooking in the apartment a bonus.

The quirky apartment is in one of the oldest streets. Bergerac offers many restaurants and the two parks were excellent, especially the Parc Pombonne. With a ten minute walk to the train station, we enjoyed a day out in both the lovely St Emilion and Bordeaux. Trains on time. Easy to rent bikes from OXO bike hire, a ten minute walk from the apartment (there is also a free town bus connecting the two). Great cycling along the V91 cycle track which borders the Dordogne river. Bergerac is a friendly town. Sophie was a brilliant host, very efficient and helpful with anything we needed and she booked us a taxi to get back to the airport.

Perfectly situated for visiting Bergerac, the restaurants, bars and shopping. It’s a short walk to the main station for buses and trains. Perfect!

The atmosphere of the loft was really cosy; its separation from the street meant I slept amazingly. The whole building had a quirky, rustic feel which I loved, especially the wonky staircase :0

I really loved the location of this 2 bedroomed apartment. Just a short walk to the river and town centre. Decent sized rooms and good shower. Well equipped kitchen and spacious for 2 people. It was a really decent price to stay in Bergerac. I would certainly stay again. Didn't meet the staff as it had a key safe but they did keep in touch and I felt they would help if needed.
