The location was perfect. My room was spacious and very comfortable. I paid extra to have a room with a view of the city, mountains and harbour and it was well worth it. The last day I was in Bergen it rained and I spent most of the day sitting on the large windowsill reading a book and staring out the window at the view. It was wonderful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and great value.

The hotel is super cosy and nice. The best was the dinner in the evening. The food was excellent. The staff was also very nice. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed.

The staff were very helpful, the included breakfasts and dinners were amazing. The free on tap coffee and hot chocolate machines were fantastic. Rooms comfortable and had everything we needed. Shower hot and great pressure. Easy walk to harbour, shops, cafes, restaurants. The walk to central station was probably 20mins in the snow and was a little adventurous. If the hotel clock tower is open well worth a visit the view is spectacular and free. Renovation work is happening at the moment but didn’t bother us at all, never heard any noise, just saw polite trades people in the building

Staff were welcoming and accommodating allowing us to check out at midday as opposed to 11 am. Hotel had a beautiful reception area that was peaceful and relaxing. We had dinner there one evening and it was good again staff in restaurant were great.
