It was a wonderful opportunity to experience both tradition and modernity in Norway. I applaud Greta and Amund for their efforts to harmonize the preservation of tradition with the convenience and sophistication of the modern age. I’m disappointed that my time in such a beautiful place was so short. If I can visit Bergen again, I would love to return.

I loved the decor and the warmth. I got a good feeling the moment I stepped in the door. That feeling stayed. The apartment was cosy and well equipped but without being cluttered. The location was beautiful. I looked out on to trees and cobble stones. It was peaceful. I met the hosts and they were very welcoming and kind. They are nearby if needed. My flight home was not until later in the day and they kindly let me store my suitcase after I checked out so I could enjoy my last time in the city without my case.

It is in a beautiful area of Bergen. Close enough to the town centre to walk and explore all that was on offer. We had one of the ground floor apartments, so was easy to get in to our room. Access to the apartment was easy, with a door code provided and keys to the individual room. Host was able to answer questions I had promptly. Area was quiet, so despite having bedroom on the street front, we were not disturbed by outside noises much. Kitchen facilities were fine. We cooked using the oven and the hot plate. Shower was lovely and warm, though space is a bit tight. Highly recommend the Enjoy Saigon restaurant a short walk down the street. We enjoyed two delicious dinners.

Communication with the hosts - Greta and Amund - was flawless and cordial. The apartment was in an old but charming clapboard house, well-appointed, with modern, nearly brand new appliances that catered for all our needs. Great location!

It was a very fun location, good facilities, quiet. Charming host. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked ok.
