Great place in a nice location. I liked that there was quiet and nearby the forest. The house looks small from outside, but it's big inside. Rooms were clean and fresh looking. And of course the host is nice, polite and good communicator.

Very modern and comfortable on the inside while keeping the traditional Swedish country house look on the outside. Excellent location, very quiet, peaceful and attractive countryside surroundings. Great base for touring the area. Warm, friendly and informative host. He cooked us a lovely meal. There are several other meal options within a 20 min drive radius.

we loved our stay at Hedenstugan. it feels really homely and comfortable. we stayed for 3 nights and our host Stef made us a great dinner every night. there is a sauna we used, a cross country ski route with lighting at night we walked and the area is great too. Stef advised a walk close by and it was great. halfway the walk there is a grill spot with wood, so we grilled the food we brought in the snow. magical!! thanks Stef! hope to be back soon.
