We spent 2 nights in Bergamo in one of La Valetta’s Junior Suites and cannot recommend the property highly enough. It is excellent value for money, owned and run by an extremely friendly and helpful family. The location is perfect and the shuttle service to the Citta Alta efficient and reliable. We hesitate to give anyone a 10, but after experiencing so many unrealistically flattering reviews on Booking.com we were delighted to stay in a property where the accolades are genuinely deserved.

The staff was extremely friendly. The location is great, with a large garden in front, very quiet and pleasant atmospehere. Excelent breakfast, with enough choises (from our point of view). The bed was comfortable. We would gladly return.

Absolutely charming and wonderfully peaceful. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. It’s a genuinely family atmosphere with beautiful views and in the nicest part of high Bergamo. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared. We took their recommendations for local restaurants and ate extremely well from a great little inexpensive family run trattoria in walking distance to a very interesting Michelin starred restaurant at the top of the hill with breathtaking views. A very pleasant experience and more than we expected

Excellent place. So peaceful. Beautiful, large bedroom with a lovely view. The breakfast was plentiful and in a wonderful room overlooking the hills and valleys. Really a fantastic stay, thank you. Highly recommended to anyone going to Bergamo. A short stroll to the old city (about 1 km).

Everything.... The staff so helpful and friendly... Nothing was too much trouble...the location.. For some they might not like to walk 15 mins into town... But we loved the peace of it... The forest behind. Plus lovely breakfast 😊

Beautiful property , easy walk to the old town. Very hospitable hosts, family run business. Very spacious comfortable room. Amazing breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The place is wonderful. The owners are the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met. The rooms are kept in great condition, the cleanliness is maintained at a high level, the food served for breakfast is always fresh and delicious. The location is in a beautiful setting quite close to the old town and at the same time it is a very quiet area. We will gladly return there more than once.
