Hostel Overview

Set in the Alpine village of Bischofswiesen, this modern hostel enjoys a scenic location in the Berchtesgadener Land region. A children’s playroom, lounge area and a wide range of outdoor activities are offered here.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in the world. It is very clean and has helpful front desk people. There is an excellent all you can eat free breakfast buffet and also an excellent all you can eat supper which costs a nominal 12 euro dollars. The hostel is surrounded by woods and beautiful German alp mountain views. Your receipt allows you free travel on local Berchtesgaden buses and even a free train ticket to Salzburg, Austria

The 4-bed female dorm had a sink, lockers and table in the room. Good breakfast and access to a fridge and microwave.

The hostel is so beautiful! Great location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The room was spacious, the other guests were very polite and respectful! I have to say, I found the accommodation better than I expected!

The staff are kind and helpful. especially a guy and a woman in the kitchen who helped me keep my luggage when the check-in counter was closed and I had no one to ask where and how to leave my luggage in the hostel before the check-in time. The female share room is very comfy and clean!! I had a really nice sleep.

Extremely clean bed linens 👍 Not far from train station just around 30 min to walk . Delicious breakfast with many options of choice. And incredible beautiful view around and so good garden for relaxing.

The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the hostel was very clean. They provide really good breakfast and the location has beautiful views. Easy to reach by bus + 10min walk.
