Sanjin on the reception desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in an excellent location for seeing the town of Berchtesgaden. Breakfast was included and was quite decent.

Great location in the heart of Berchtesgaden, feel the history of the place. Very caring and helpful staff. Free bus pass covering the area including the Obersalzburg etc. Room very comfortable and a superb breakfast to start the day. Definitely well worth a return visit.

Breakfast food was great but the view in the dining room was spectacular. Just like the photos show...breath taking! The gentleman that catered to the dining room in the mornings was brilliant and very engaging, making the whole experience even more delightful ...5 stars all the way.

The view from the breakfast area is amazing. The hotel is old and a bit quirky, which I liked. My room balcony was also great and you can't fault the place for cleanliness. The hotel reception staff went beyond their duty in terms of friendliness and giving me some advice for visiting local tourist attractions. The location is excellent, as the old town is within walking distance, as is the train station and adjacent bus station. The nearby museum is also great. I'd stay again for sure. I strongly recommend that you give yourself plenty of time in Berchtesgaden, as the weather will not always be good and attractions can close early. Overall it is an amazing place. Absolutely beautiful.
