Big room, very clean, with a nice balcony. The bathroom was very big and modern, the beds comfortable. Very friendly personal. Amazing and lovely personalized breakfast at the floor of each room. The hotel is located close to the city center, around 10-15 min. walk. And also amazing price (traveling end of September there). In overall a great choice, would happily stay there again.

Lovely clean room. Staff were very welcoming. Water and tea and coffee making facilities available all day. The breakfast was lovely, especially the fig jam.

The staff are all so sweet and nice. They personally ironed my sister’s clothes and were very sweet. They arranged for a taxi back.

The beds. The beds and the pillows were AMAZING. The owner was really helpful, even without speaking much English. The shower curtain. All. Greatest place we have stayed in Albania so far.

The room was great. There was a desk to setup my laptop and such on. The TV got some American Channels. The Shower was AMAZING. The beds felt new and were very nice. All was great. The ground rooms open right ON TO the dinning area and the front desk... A little different but it didnt cause me an issue at all. =) Wonderful Staff!!!! Eric

It was a lovely experience staying at the Merkaj Hotel. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff was very welcoming and warm. I enjoyed an amazing breakfast with various traditional food that was fresh and tasty :) The location was easy to find and very close to the center of town.
