We liked the whole experience of the accommodation, the terrace, the Turkish mideevle style, the castle experience, beeing close to everything that's a must see in Berat, the homemade food in the accommodation, but also in the restaurants in the Castle, the comfortable bads, the clean room, the risnble price for whole of that in the accommodation, but in Berat in total...

Beautiful, well maintained family run business. Extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed up late to wait for us. We stayed in the newly renovated family room which was very spacious and without fault. Location excellent- 20 minute walk downhill into old town, 6€ taxi back up the hill. View for breakfast a real highlight. Breakfast itself was excellent. Couldn’t fault anything about the stay.

A lovely family run B&B, we were made very welcome and Aldi was there to answer any questions we had. Our room was very comfortable with wonderful views from every window. Delicious breakfast on the terrace with tea and coffee offered; a great start to the day. It was special to be staying within the castle walls and we enjoyed the challenge of driving in through the castle gates, good parking right outside the accommodation. Enjoyed the steep walk down to town to explore the Mangalem and Gorica areas - walking back up we stopped halfway for a cool drink at small cafe with fab views and the loan of a handy pair of binoculars! Overall we'd definitely recommend Kris Guesthouse if you are heading to Berat.

Great place inside Berat castle. It is a well-renovated historic house with a lovely terrace and views. The host is very kind and hospitable. There is reserved parking, which is a huge plus if you are coming by car. The breakfast was great, only minor point is that there is no coffee. Overall, we had a great time.

Aldi the owner is so kind and friendly. He and his family made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and clean, the guesthouse is beautiful and the views are stunning. Lovely breakfast every morning all home made and fresh
