Beautiful traditional guesthouse situated in the castle walls. Very tastefully decorated rooms. It was great to have parking right out the front of the guesthouse. Extremely friendly, warm and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for you and made us feel very special. Fabulous food at the onsite restaurant and delicious breakfast. Recommend eating dinner there and taking any recommendations for what to eat - dessert was to die for! Would have loved to have stayed longer. We couldn’t fault hotel Klea and loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

We felt very welcome. Warm and friendly atmosphere, like being part of the family. Cute dog Simba showed us the castle in the morning and tolerated all of our petting without any complaints ;-)

Fantastic location in the castle. Friendly and communicative host. The breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed it very much. This tiny family-owned hotel is all-round good. It's a steep climb up from town, though, whether by car or on foot!

Location is perfect: excellent spot to expore Berat Castle and the medieval alleyways nearby. Great parking and easy access. The hotel is located in an old house beautifully decorated. The food is to die for. Indeed, we had the best dinner in our Albanian trip at the hotel. However, the best was undoubtely the staff: they made us feel at home with a warm welcome and superb service.
