Ryokan Overview

The New Tsuruta Hotel is only a few steps from the downtown area, and an 8-minute walk from JR Beppu Train Station. The Umitamago Aquarium is around a 10-minute drive, and the hot springs of Jigoku Meguri a 15-minute drive.
Guests at Tsuruta New Hotel can unwind in a soothing indoor or outdoor public hot spring bath, or relax with a massage in the massage parlor or in their room. The concierge can recommend sightseeing spots. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, a shop and drinks vending machines.

Spa(sauna) facilities was so amazing. Japanese style room in this hotel is more huge rather than other beppu hotels. Breakfast is delicious.

Excellent customer service, location is great and the breakfast is fantastic. And of course, the onsen ! Did 3 times in one day (morninf, after come back from whole day activity and finally just before bed).

Staff very professional and helpful. Location from Beppu station and access to restaurants for dinner. Breakfast catered for a variety of cultures. Even better was the use of the onsen … a fabulous way to sooth aching legs after sightseeing.
