The room was lovely, located very close to a beautiful temple. I slept extremely well with the white noise from the nearby stream.

The ladies looking after the guesthouse are wonderful. From the welcoming tea and biscuit when we checked in, to booking a taxi when we left. Nothing was too much trouble.

I had a real taste of Japanese accommodation here though the wall partition was not sound proof enough. The room decoration was authentic, and reading books or travel materials in the host's sitting room could be an enjoyable experience. Also the parking is big and spacious enough for 2-3 cars from visitors.
