I liked that there were different types of private baths, and we managed to try two of the seven. I also appreciate the coffee / tea machines and the ice cream / yogurt station. To top that off, the unlimited ramen at 10pm was awesome! The patio leading to the entrance was also elegant along with its no shoe policy, I find wearing traditional clothes and footwear enhanced our trip experience. Will stay here again!

Definitely the private onsens! Each onsen has an unique theme, and friendly for couples, individuals, foreigners with tatoos, and family group. For 45 mins you can have your private onsen, all other customers were following this rule during our stay which was fantastic. The private onsens were really relaxing, and clean. Great facilities: Free ice-cream and drinks on the onsen floor. Paid Karaoke rooms. Manga reading room, massage chairs. The staff gave us 2 free noodles because of my birthday. Next to train station and bus stop, very convenient location.

Private onsens, nice recreational area with massage chairs, yogurt drinks, ice cream and Free supper noodle. Homely touch of walking within hotel in scandals provided, socks or even barefooted. Good breakfast.

New, clean, and beautifully appointed rooms. Onsen and lounge on the top level with unlimited popsicles were superb. The tatami mats throughout and only socked feet allowed in the entire hotel added to the experience. Car park next door was convenient. Right next to busy streets full of restaurants.

Everything about this hotel is great. The location is a 2 minute walk from Beppu station. Even in such a convenient and central location, it was quiet. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of choices and the restaurant and the hotel overall is very clean. I also enjoyed the onsen indoor and out, sauna and the complimentary ice lollies. The staff helped me with some restaurant bookings, though it took a while to completely communicate with them a couple of them due to language challenge and requested alternative by me, respectively.

Amazing location and hotel is super clean, facilities are awesome! Love that everything is prepared to be neat, tidy and thoughtfully done up for the guests. The private onsen are the best!
