We stayed at this hotel (part of the small luxury hotel of the world group) for our last night before flying home to Sydney. We got a good deal on Booking.com and they were kind enough to extend our check out time to 2pm. It was perfect for our short stay as we just wanted to relax around the pool and read. A unique touch was seeing the trains go past (given the train track is at the end of the hotel's garden]. You have to walk across the track to get to the beach.

We had an amazing stay at the Long House. The grounds, pool and hotel are beautiful. The rooms are large, clean and ours had a beautiful outside shower. We decided to go half board, and would thoroughly recommend. The choices were lovely, with a good mix of traditional and Western dishes. The staff are amazing, especially the restaurant staff. We couldn't recommend the Long House anymore!

A hidden gem right at Bentota Beach. It feels like not a hotel, but your billionaire friend gave you the keys to his luxurious oceanside mansion for the holidays and asked his staff to treat you like a Royal family member. Everything is Immaculate. From homemade sorbet on arrival to the stunning restaurant where the chef will cook for you personally, from a manicured garden to private sun lounges set on request just for you on the beach. Amazing experience! Thank you for having us in The Long House! We will definitely return!

The Long House is located in a convenient location in a beautiful beachfront area in Sri Lanka. It has access to stunning beaches and sunset views. The staff is very nice and friendly. The service was excellent. Very peaceful environment.

A very cute property in Bentota. The resort is really amazing, worth staying. The beach is just a small walk away, crossing the rail path- which gives another wonderful experience. The food is simply amazing.. The best we had in our trip to Sri Lanka. Special mention to the wonderful Chef and all the staff for the wonderful hospitality
