The fine print
Massage Therapy is available and can be booked in advance of your arrival or after check-in. Current Fees are $125/hour, $175 for 90 minutes, or $250 for a Couples Massage (1-hr each).
Our pet fee is $30 per stay, up to 2 pets.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

A bit of luxury and a trip travelling up the west coast. Cost, good food, great bar and lovely rooms. Really comfortable bed. A beautiful historic hotel in stunning countryside and great for the exploring the redwoods.

Excellent well kept period hotel. The Sherry decanter in the room is a nice touch. Dining on the terrace with the heaters keeping the chill away. Good selection of local craft ales. Friendly efficient staff. Very well placed for the magnificent Avenue of the Giants.

Great historic Inn with British influence evident. Dinner was wonderful. An employee named Damont (?) went of his way to share the history of the area and point us to a Julia Morgan designed home.

Location was great, easy access from the 101. The room was spacious and comfortable, great bed. We enjoyed eating dinner under the stars listening to live music. Overall a very relaxing experience.

- Very friendly and professional staff - Beautiful furnishings (old style - e.g. Chesterfield sofas in the library) - Just cozy 😊 - Beautiful location (Mountain view in a valley) - No light smog (Milky Way is visible) - Very delicious breakfast

Our Trout Almondine dinner was excellent - -fresh, tasty, & cooked well done, the way I requested. We had a terrific view of the Eel River from our Room 306 on the 4th floor. And, the desk clerk was so accomodating in getting us a bag of ice to take to our room. Additionally, our room was huge and included a comfortable sofa and desk & chair. Beautiful room and lobby and dining room.
