Parador de Benavente is a converted 12th-century royal castle in Zamora province. It features impressive décor and offers an outdoor pool and attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Amazing historic building, our rooms were on the ground floor with access to the garden, with individual terrace and garden furniture. The on site restaurant offers excellent local cuisine

We loved the size of the room, the high tech bathroom, the beautiful balcony with comfy chairs and a brilliant view. The bar staff and cleaning staff were friendly and attentive. The building was well kept, right in the centre of town a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants.

We had stayed at several paradors on our trip and Benevente was a particularly lovely overnight stay, ideal for a stop over on a long journey - the room was spacious and very comfortable, exceptional bathroom and dinner was excellent. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. As always breakfast was a highlight and views from the dining room beautiful

The building is in a superb location with fabulous views. As well as being a beautiful building with character, the Parador is extremely comfortable. Our room (with a balcony overlooking the attractive grounds ) was delightful. We were very pleased to be able to keep our bikes in our room. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

Stayed just one night but a high-quality hotel. Superb room with enormous bathroom including a double shower.. Very comfortable bed which was essential after my previous night staying elsewhere. Good meal but lacking any vegetables. Good location with stunning views.
